DAN 310 Dance: Theory & Style

This course prepares the student to think critically about dance. Through the study of dance theory, choreographic styles, and published critical writing, the course examines the impact of dance forms on our cultures and the important role dance plays in society. Three lecture hours plus one two-hour laboratory per week. Not open to students who have received credit for SMS 440.
