AGS 700 - Action Research Seminar6 Credit(s) This course, required of all CAGS candidates, will meet regularly over a two year period and include formal presentations, group discussions, and individual advising. Purposes include: (1) developing an understanding of the unique characteristics of action research; (2) assisting candidates in the identification of problems and design of action plans to be implemented within their own work settings; (3) monitoring the systematic acquiring, recording, and interpretation of data and evidence related to individual action plans. Information sources will include current educational research as well as relevant case studies from legal, medical and business-oriented professions.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Salem State University/Northeast Consortium CAGS Program.
