HRI 704 - Food and Beverage Management3 Credit(s) This course provides the student with an overview of the food and beverage industry, and a close look at the functional and control elements which make up a food and beverage business. Peripheral elements will be explored such as legislation, nutrition, industry trends, safety and sanitation. Detailed and advanced examination of the elements within the “hospitality and service” industry will explore how they impact the profit and loss of the Food and Beverage industry.
