ART 314 - Graphic Design for Publications3 Credit(s)
This course focuses of both the technical proficiency and the graphic design methods used in producing a range of publications such as brochures, magazines, and annual reports. Students create electronic pre-press files using industry standard software. The complexities of layout and grid systems are covered, including the use and integration of images, typography, and other graphic design elements. Required of Art majors in the Graphic Design and Interactive Multimedia concentrations and Minors. Three lecture hours per week plus laboratory work outside of class. Prerequisite: ART303 .
