GLS 102 - Evolving Earth4 Credit(s) DII Q This course introduces the principles and techniques used to interpret earth history. Topics covered are the origin and evolution of the earth, its atmosphere and oceans, and plants and animals. Students will learn to interpret earth materials, geologic maps, and fossils in the context of earth history. Three lecture hours and two hours of laboratory per week. Satisfies Distribution Division II science sequence requirement with GLS100. Not open to students who have received credit for GLS2011. Prerequisite: , or permission of Department Chairperson.
