NUR 425 - Professional Role Concepts and Competancies3 Credit(s) This course introduces the management functions and leadership roles of professional registered nurses within the structure of an organization. Emphasis is given to organizational, management, behavioral, and political theories. Accountability for quality assurance in the provision of nursing care, interdisciplinary communication, and collaborative relationships is emphasized. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisites: NUR 409 , NUR 421 , and NUR 422 . Co-requisites: NUR 420A , NUR 423 , and NUR 424 .
