COM 716 - Communications in The Global Village3 Credit(s) This course is designed to prepare students to communicate effectively and ethically across cultural and group boundaries in a media environment defined by digital convergence and global reach. We will explore the history of and theoretical literature about global communications as well as discuss intergroup and intercultural dimensions that can create barriers to effective communication. This class will focus on applications of concepts to professional practice in communications.
