SWK 869 - Evaluation Research in the Human Services

3 Credit(s) This seminar explores quantitative research methods for human services workers. Specific topics include logic modeling, differential application of methods, needs assessment, process and outcome measurement, intervention model fidelity, client satisfaction surveys, bet practice in focus groups, continuous quality improvement as well as cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis. Students gain practical experience through development of specific evaluation plan for later implementation in their own work settings.
