CRJ 480 Proseminar: Applied Statistics in Criminal Justice 3 Credit(s) This course focuses on preparing Criminal Justice students for advanced quantitative research in Criminal Justice and its practical application. Using multivariate analysis, this course examines techniques used to explore relationships between variables that are important in criminal justice research. The course familiarizes students with computerized data handling and analysis. Students will learn SPSS, and possibly other statistical programs, coding issues, and data download and acquisition. CRJ Research concentration requirement. Prerequisites: CRJ 400 and CRJ 401 .
