PSY 431 Research in Animal Learning 4 Credit(s) W This elective course is designed to give students a working knowledge of the basic principles of behavior discovered in the animal laboratory. To this end students will be responsible for shaping the behavior of a rat so as to illustrate these principles and concepts. Through writing and revision, students will learn to express themselves effectively. Three lecture and three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite: PSY 203S , PSY 210 or 328 , and at least six credits in courses numbered PSY 300-399.
