BHS 101 Introduction to Healthcare

This course utilizes experiential and didactic learning to facilitate a student’s understanding of healthcare environments, the delivery of services, and the multiple roles and responsibilities of health care providers. Students will establish skills and knowledge needed to comprehend the complexities of the US healthcare system, healthcare practice guidelines, and ethical practices. Students will identify a specific aspect of healthcare practice of interest and create a plan that will explore their topic of interest throughout the program.
