This course provides the student with an understanding of healthcare policy, how healthcare is organized, dispensed and how the practitioner can better can better work in the system. The impact of healthcare policy at the local, state, national and World Health Care Organization level is examined. Ways to engage in healthcare advocacy are presented. Required for BHS major and minor.
