EDU 840P - Practicum for the Reading Specialist3 Credit(s) This is a supervised 150-hour practicum experience in diagnosis of reading difficulties, teaching to meet specific needs and literacy leadership. Experience in the practicum will include: Administration of diagnostic measures, design of intervention strategies, teaching, preparation of reports of progress, and design of professional development activities, including coaching. There are required individual conferences with the cooperating practitioner and university supervisor.
