NUR 836 - Advanced Practice Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care: Practicum II6 Credit(s) This clinical practicum enables students to continue to develop in the advanced practice nursing role. Opportunities are provided for students to build on previously-acquired skills and to apply concepts of primary care in the management of adult health problems. The practicum provides opportunities for the achievement of competencies specific to the advanced practice nursing role through faculty-supervised experiences with a preceptor. The practicum requires 270 hours of supervised clinical hours and a weekly one hour seminar, dates and times of seminar to be arranged.
