EDC 885P - Student Teaching Practicum in Mathematics (5-8)

3 Credit(s) A full-time classroom experience in a local school setting providing the teacher candidate with on-site supervisory support in a middle school Mathematics classroom and periodic observation and evaluation by a university supervisor at the school placement site. The practice of measuring and evaluating student achievement will also be examined as an integral part of the teaching/learning process. Students are also required to attend weekly seminar sessions as part of a co-requisite seminar. Minimum of 300 clock hours per semester. All licensure program prerequisites must be met prior to practicum assignment.
