EDC 856 - Practicum Seminar II in Elementary Education3 Credit(s) This second full semester seminar is taken in conjunction with Practicum II. The semester will continue to focus on strengthening the teacher candidate’s role in the classroom and provide students opportunities to develop fields of expertise in a school organization. Under the advisement of the classroom teacher, the supervisor and the seminar leader, the student will develop further areas of expertise in elementary education. The seminar provides pedagogical and content support to enhance the field experience. With the practicum, this course is designed exclusively for those students seeking Initial Licensure in Elementary Education. Full-day, full-semester field placement is required.
