ENL 253 American Ethnic Literatures Since World War II

This course provides a writing-intensive study of the spectrum of ethic literatures written in the United States since the second half of the twentieth century. The course will focus on the ways that the texts convey experiences of belonging and difference in a variety of communities, from the family to the nation. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: W-I course.
