EDU 486P Student Teaching Practicum in Spanish (P-6) 9 Credit(s) A full-time classroom experience in a local elementary school setting providing the pre-service undergraduate with on-site supervisory support in the classroom and periodic observation and evaluation by a college supervisor at the school placement site. The practice of measuring and evaluating student achievement will also be examined as an integral part of the teaching/learning process. Students are also required to attend weekly seminar sessions as part of a co-requisite seminar. Minimum of 300 clock hours per semester. This course is normally taken during the senior year. All licensure requirements must be met prior to practicum assignment. Not open to students who have received credit for EDU486 or EDU486A.
