EDS 990Y - Psycho-Educational Assessment of Exceptional Students3 Credit(s) This course is designed to give each student the opportunity to develop a foundation in diagnostic prescriptive techniques for use in designing individual instruction procedures for children with disabilities. Contents will include an introduction to formal/informal assessment techniques, standardized tests, and related program planning activities as related to students served under Chapter 766 and PL 94-142. Non-discriminatory assessment for the bilingual child with special needs will be explored. A fifteen hour pre-practicum is required.
Not open to students who have received credit for EDS 912S.
Prerequisites: EDG 790 and EDS 891 .
