EDU 737 - Theories of Thinking and Learning Across Childhood into Adolescence3 Credit(s) This course will introduce age appropriate lesson planning. How children change over time at various ages and stages will be explored with a focus on various theories of physical, cognitive and social and emotional development. We will introduce factors impacting motivation to learn and the processes involved in learning. The impact of ethnic, gender, and cultural factors on development will be examined. Three lecture hours per week.
