EDC 882PS - Practicum Seminar in Teaching History

3 Credit(s) This course is a weekly seminar that serves as a companion to the practicum experience. Topics may include adapting classroom activities to serve different types of learners, current trends in history education, such as the use of primary sources and technology in history instruction, as well as instruction in evaluation and classroom management. Three lecture hours per week.
Pre-requisites: Permission of the department chairperson and program coordinator; application to the student teaching practicum.
Co-requisite: EDC 882P or EDC 883P
