EDC 743 - Science Methods in Elementary Grades

3 Credit(s) This hands-on approach to science will include topics from physical, earth, health, engineering, and life sciences. This course will help students set and achieve instructional and content objectives in the elementary grades. Emphasis will be on learning how students construct knowledge and understand science concepts and how to design developmentally appropriate lessons using appropriate instructional technology. Field-based assignments are required.
Pre-requisites: EDC 406 Literacy Development II.
