ENL 333 Novel II

A study of the history of the novel throughout the world since 1850. The course will cover such topics as: the Realistic novel, the Naturalistic novel, the Modernistic novel, the nouveau roman, the Post-Modern novel, and the novel in colonial and post-colonial cultures. Three lecture hours per week.  Not open to students who have received credit for ENG 328.  Prerequisite: W-I course.
