ENL 441 Special Topic in Renaissance Literature

The course allows for an intensive study of some aspect of English Renaissance Literature.  The course may focus on an individual author (e.g. John Milton), linked authors (say Edmund Spenser and John Milton), or thematic (e.g. Nature in Early Modern Lyric Poetry, or some special topic like Politics and Gender in English Renaissance Writing).  Not open to students who have received credit for ENG429.  
Prerequisites:  A W-I course and at least one English at the 200-level or above.
