WLC 251 Continental European Literature I 3 Credit(s) CEA A study of selected works of European literature from medieval times to the 18th century, read in English translation. Literary works will be treated in terms of genres and themes, and contextualized in their time periods. Students will also attempt to write a creative piece in the style of one of the genres studied (poem, play, narrative, etc.) and will attend or participate in a literary event on or off campus. Lectures and discussions in English. Three lecture hours per week.
