HST 208 History of American Constitutions 3 Credit(s) Traces the development of constitutionalism in British North America and analyzes its culmination in the constitutions of Massachusetts and the United States. The material studied is considered in the light of both contemporary government and Supreme Course decisions. Three lecture hours per week. Fulfills Massachusetts’s teacher certification American Government requirement. Not open to students who have received credit for HIS208.
