PSY 252 Adolescent Psychology 3 Credit(s) CS This course provides the student with a broad theoretical and practical basis for the understanding of this dynamic period of development. Theoretical models are reviewed within the context of important issues of the adolescent experience. Students explore the nature of evidence in developmental psychology, assess the value of theory in understanding contemporary social issues, and engage in systematic investigations about adolescence. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for PSY206 or PSY 218 .
