SMS 320 Aquatic Administration & Facility Operation

This course is designed to provide information specific to aquatic facility administration. Health regulations and risk management will serve as the foundation for the knowledge, skills and abilities covered as related to leadership, management, chemistry and mathematical models, and preventative and routine maintenance in the aquatic environment. Prior aquatic experience including life guarding strongly recommended. Course includes National Swimming Pool Foundation Pool Operator training and certification. Required for the Aquatic Management Minor. Not open to students who have received credit for SFL215B.
Prerequisite: Completion of the Basic College Mathematics Competency Requirement.
