                  NUR 461 Nursing Care of the Adult and Aging Population I 4 Credit(s)                  This course provides students with lecture and laboratory-based introduction to and application of nursing skills in clinical settings. Topics will include nursing process, evidence-based practice, critical thinking, psychosocial and physiological needs, and patient safety. Four lecture hours and twelve laboratory/clinical hours per week during Summer Session I. Open only to and required of student enrolled in the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program. Co-requisite: NUR 460 .
