EDU 992D - Differentiating Instruction for English Language Learners3 Credit(s) This course provides examination of the issues and approaches used in the education of diverse PK-12 English language learners (ELLs) with a variety of special needs. Students will learn the methods and approaches used to assess, evaluate, and determine eligibility for placement of ELLs in special education programs. Students will design curriculum that differentiates instruction for ELLs with special needs and discuss ways of communicating with their parents and advocating on their behalf.
