OCT 724 - Introduction to Human Occupation and the Theoretical Constructs of Practice3 Credit(s) This introductory course prepares the OT student for acquiring knowledge of the theoretical foundations that support decision-making for occupational therapists in a variety of complex environments. Discussion and analysis of the models, theories and frames of reference in OT practice will be included. In addition, students will learn about humans as occupational beings, the analysis of human occupation, occupational performance and the impact of the environment on occupational endeavors. The OT Practice Framework will be integrated into the course work. Limited to OCT Major.
