CRJ 220 Theories of Crime and Justice 3 Credit(s) W-II This course provides an overview of the major theories of crime and justice. Because this is a W-II course, it also helps students to develop writing skills. The causes, correlates, and measures of crime will be examined, as presented in theories and empirically tested through relevant research. Topics include the evaluation of theories and their application to criminal justice policies and programs. Three lecture hours per week. CRJ Major Requirement.
Prerequisite: CRJ101. Not open to students who received credit for CRJ362.
