THE 208 Fundamentals of Playwriting 3 Credit(s) This course provides the student with a step-by-step process to the writing of a theatrical script. Beginning writers will learn to utilize effective structure, intriguing characters, and powerful dialogue in their created work. Emphasis will be on first draft evaluation and effective revision. As members of a writing group, students will also analyze plays that help to model logical and imaginative construction techniques. Three lecture hours per week.
Prerequisite; THE107.
