OCT 398 Information and digital Literacy for Promoting OT

This course provides students with an introduction to the concepts and practices of information literacy, including critical thinking skills used to identify and evaluate diverse information sources. Students will learn best practices to locate and resources needed to successfully engage in the teaching-learning and research process, to become effective learners and educators. Students will explore their own learning style, a variety of presentation styles, and appreciate the value of technology in application to occupational therapy practice. Four lecture hours per week.
