MUS 103 Music and Arts in History II

A course about music and its relation to Western culture. Class discussion will include music from the Classical period through the contemporary era with concurrent developments in art, architecture, literature, and philosophy. No prior knowledge of music is necessary. Attendance at concerts/art exhibits outside of class may be required. Three lecture hours per week.
