GPH 385 Meteorology

This course analyzes the atmosphere, weather elements, air masses, fronts, and storms. It introduces the principles of weather forecasting and special problems of micrometeorology. Includes practice in the instrumentation and data analysis procedures of meteorological observation including the use of synoptic maps and upper air charts is provided. This course satisfies the scientific reasoning general education requirement. Three lecture hours per week.
