EDU 991K - Teacher Leadership for Structural Change3 Credit(s) This course focuses on teacher leadership as a mechanism to catalyze structural change in the context of current issues in the field. Using a culturally responsive lens, students in the course will learn about the various ways that teacher leadership is enacted and how it can play a key role in school change for just outcomes. Theoretical and practical explorations of teacher leadership, paired with research-based understandings of pressing structural issues in the field, will prepare students to create an actionable plan for change in their educational contexts.
