EEC 810 - Methods for Early Intervention Services

3 Credit(s) This course will provide students with knowledge of history and law providing early intervention (EI) services and knowledge and skill needed to work with children birth to three who have or are at-risk for developmental delays and their families. This course explores EI methods aligned with current best practices including those for collaborating with culturally and linguistically diverse families. Students will practice culturally responsive EI methods. Three lecture hours. Field-based assignments may be required.
