AGS 732A - Creating and Managing Equitable School Budgets

1.5 Credit(s) This course provides future school leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to create and manage school budgets that align with each school’s needs, priorities, and values and that center equitable outcomes for students. Candidates will explore the relationship between school and district budgets as well as the Massachusetts laws that pertain to school budgeting. The course will also equip candidates with the perspective and skills needed to collaboratively create and manage school budgets. 1.5 lecture hours per week.
