AGS 736 - Instructional Leadership for Equity and Justice3 Credit(s)
This course supports emerging educational leaders in developing skills for equitable and just instructional leadership in schools. Candidates will engage with various approaches to instructional leadership, strategies for weaving instructional leadership into the work of supervision and evaluation, and will develop strategies for supporting school-based educators in developing and enacting just and equitable instruction. Course experiences will also focus on working with school-based instructional leadership teams in service of just outcomes for all students. Candidates will develop broad skills in instructional leadership as well as skills tailored to their area of licensure. Three lecture hours per week. Enrollment limited to students enrolled in the CAGS in Educational Leadership Program.
