ACC 702 - Individual Taxation3 Credit(s) This course explores federal income tax principles and concepts which pertain to tax reporting entities. The course focuses on the nature of the tax code, the structure of the federal income tax process, the tax formula, and using common reference materials to conduct tax research. Emphasis is placed on the subjects of gross income, deductions, capital gains and losses, and the determination of taxable income. Three lecture hours per week. Waived for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting.
Pre-requisite: ACC106 or ACC 720 .
