EDU 767 - Literature for Children

3 Credit(s) This course builds knowledge of children’s literature representing our diverse society, as well as ways to use literature PreK-8. Criteria for book selection and teaching procedures are examined. Emphasis is on the use of books written for children and adolescents to support literacy and language development, learning across the curriculum, social justice, global awareness, and critical thinking.
