EDC 708 - Early Childhood MED Pre-Practicum I

1.5 Credit(s) This field placement component accompanies the content methods courses in the MED Early Childhood Education licensure program. This course provides intensive experience and guidance in the field as students learn and practice instruction across the core content areas of the early childhood education curriculum. Candidates will receive at least one formal observation with pre-and post-conferences by their faculty supervisor. Over the course of the semester, students must be in a field placement and acquire hours and experiences exceeding 150 of the programmatically required 300 hour pre-practicum. The course is graded as Pass/Fail/Marginal Pass. 1.5 credits.
Pre-requisite: Admission into the MED early childhood program.
