EDC 795 - Secondary Spanish Education MAT Pre-Practicum II

1 Credit(s) This field placement component accompanies EDC 783 Methods of Teaching Spanish II in the Spanish 5-12 graduate licensure program(s). This course provides intensive experience and guidance in the field as students learn and practice instruction across secondary Spanish world language curriculum. Candidates will receive at least one formal observation with pre- and post-conferences by their faculty supervisor. Students must be in a field placement and acquire pre-practicum hours and field experiences at 6 hours weekly (minimum total of 60 hours for the term). The course is graded as Pass/Fail/Marginal Pass. 1 credit.
Pre-requisite: Admission into the MAT Spanish Initial Level Licensure program
