EDC 755 - Elementary 4+1 Pre-Practicum I

1.5 Credit(s) This field placement component accompanies the content methods courses in the BS/MED Elementary Initial program. This course provides intensive experience and guidance in the field as students learn and practice instruction across the core content areas of the elementary education curriculum. Candidates will receive at least one formal observation with pre- and post-conferences by their faculty supervisor. Students will be in a 10-hour a week field placement for their pre-practicum experience. The course is graded as Pass/Fail/Marginal Pass. 1.5 credits.
Pre-requisite: Admission into Education, BS-MEd, Justice in Elementary Education with Teacher Licensure program
