EDC 727 - Secondary History Education 4+1 Pre-Practicum II1 Credit(s) This field placement component accompanies EDC 773 Methods of Teaching History and the Social Sciences II in the Combined B.A. in English and Master of Education in Secondary History Education with a Major in Teacher Education (4+1) licensure program. This course provides intensive experience and guidance in the field as students learn and practice instruction across the 5-12 History Licensure curriculum. Candidates will receive at least one formal observation with pre- and post-conferences by their faculty supervisor. Students must be in a field placement and acquire pre-practicum hours and field experiences at 6 hours weekly (minimum total of 60 hours for the term). The course is graded as Pass/Fail/Marginal Pass. 1 credit.
Pre-requisite: Admission into the Combined BA History-Med Secondary Education Teacher Licensure 4+1 program
Co-requisite: EDC 773 Methods of Teaching History and the Social Sciences II
