PSY 209 Statistics for Psychological Research

This course covers descriptive and inferential statistical methods as they are used in psychology, including correlation, regression, t-tests, analysis of variance, and some non-parametric techniques. Data will be collected at the class level using tools designed to measure various psychological constructs. Students will apply these analyses and demonstrate writing in psychology with individually written lab reports. Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours per week.

Prerequisites: PSY203S or PSY208, and math competency. Not open to students that have completed PSY204R.
