CRJ 314 Career Preparation in Criminal Justice 3 Credit(s) This course provides students with an opportunity to begin preparing for a broad range of career opportunities in criminal justice-related fields. Through readings, assignments and guest speakers students will explore a variety of topics including informed decisions about coursework and minors, careers, continued education in law school and at the master’s and Ph.D. levels. Additional topics will include preparation for resume building, networking, internship and job prospecting, interviewing, and first-job expectations. Course will be graded on a pass/fail basis. Prerequisities: Minimum 45 credits to enroll. Three lecture hours per week.
