GPH 343 Drones and Aerial Imagery: Applications and Image Analysis

This course details the applications of drones and other high resolution imagery for environmental science analysis. Students will gain experience in combining in-situ field work and drone imagery to analyze change in a variety of contexts from salt marshes to urban neighborhoods. They will gain experience in mission design and flight as well as be prepared to earn their own commercial drone license. Three lecture hours per week.
