GPH 444 Digital Image Processing of Remotely Sensed Data 3 Credit(s) This course provides an investigation of the applied use of remotely sensed data to investigate complex problems in earth and environmental science. This course builds on GPH344 to expand students’ understanding of the scene model, parametric and non-parametric modeling, and strategies for combining different available remote sensing products (for example – drone imagery with Landsat 9). Students will develop a personal research project with an external partner to understand how remote sensing can be applied beyond the classroom. Three lecture hours per week.
